Members of the campus community, underst和ably, wanted more 信息. But there is a legal limit to what ISU may disclose. Personal health 信息 is subject to federal 和 state privacy laws, 包括HIPAA, student educational records are protected by FERPA.
Local health departments are responsible 为 investigating 和 notifying the people with whom the infected individual had close contact.
